Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Delivery: Ensure all packages and goods are delivered to the correct location on schedule.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, handle packages with care, and resolve any delivery issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, receipts, and delivery records in compliance with company policy.
- Load Management: Safely load and unload cargo, adhering to proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Driver’s License (Class C or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Navigation: Strong familiarity with the Columbus, OH area and modern GPS navigation systems.
