Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods on designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure efficiency
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B or equivalent) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Chicago metropolitan area and surrounding suburbs
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and delivery tracking systems
- Strong communication skills and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
