Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers for long-haul routes across the continental US
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules and maintain on-time performance
- Ensure cargo security and proper loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation
- Build strong relationships with clients and warehouse personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for regional and OTR assignments
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
