Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and unload packages safely and efficiently from the delivery vehicle.
- Navigate to designated addresses using GPS and route planning software to ensure timely delivery.
- Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and ensure packages are in perfect condition upon arrival.
- Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle any delivery issues or customer inquiries professionally.
- Keep accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery records.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or serious traffic violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to plan routes effectively.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and electronic logging purposes.
- Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a friendly attitude.
