- Safely and efficiently transport packages and documents throughout Chicago metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup/delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Handle special delivery requirements with confidentiality and care
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
