Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in accordance with all DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently and accurately, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Current DOT Medical Card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of Seattle area routes, geography, and logistics.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance checks.
