Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver goods to local San Francisco businesses and residential areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Interact professionally with customers and vendors at delivery sites.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Strong knowledge of San Francisco and surrounding Bay Area streets.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
