Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local deliveries within the Dallas metropolitan area
- Plan efficient routes to meet tight delivery schedules and optimize fuel consumption
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and customer communications
- Load/unload shipments with proper material handling techniques
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Dallas/Fort Worth roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass federal background check and pre-employment drug screening
