Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes efficiently based on traffic and delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Boston metro area and New England geography
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging systems
