Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to deliver goods across Missouri and surrounding regions
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Handle specialized cargo (temperature-controlled, hazardous materials as qualified)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate manual transmission
- Proficiency with delivery apps and GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Knowledge of Kansas City metro area road networks
