Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries within Illinois
- Inspect and maintain trucks per DOT regulations pre/post-trip
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows
- Communicate with dispatch team via electronic logging devices
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrakes endorsement (or Class A)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning/late afternoon shifts
