Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely, adhering to weight limits and securing loads properly.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or cargo issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Previous experience in truck driving or logistics preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
