Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling during transit
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report maintenance issues and perform minor truck repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of professional truck driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of San Jose area roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
