Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo using proper techniques and equipment
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly to fleet management
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (last 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and traffic laws
- Basic cargo securement and weight distribution skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Must be 21+ years of age
