Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and delivery vans for local and regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Optimize routes for timely delivery in Greater Boston area
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Boston area navigation
- DOT medical certification and clear background check
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication
- Must be available for weekend/evening shifts
