Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure student safety during boarding, transport, and exiting
- Maintain orderly conduct on the bus
- Adhere to all traffic laws and MPS policies
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Complete accurate trip documentation
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (minimum 2 years clean record)
- Ability to obtain Class B CDL with passenger endorsement
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Must be 21+ years old
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with children preferred
