Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and pharmaceutical supplies between healthcare facilities
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and handle temperature-sensitive materials according to HIPAA guidelines
- Coordinate with hospital staff, clinics, and laboratories for timely pickups and drop-offs
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness of transport equipment
- Adhere to strict biohazard protocols and emergency response procedures
- Utilize GPS technology for optimized routing and real-time delivery tracking
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
