- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for time-sensitive deliveries
- Document all transfers using electronic tracking systems and maintain chain-of-custody logs
- Coordinate with healthcare staff for seamless pickup/dropoff scheduling
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain clean, organized transport units
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance standards for all patient materials
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical background preferred
- Experience with cold chain logistics or medical transport a plus
- Proficiency in GPS navigation and mobile tracking systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
