Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab results, and sensitive healthcare documents using climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems for all shipments
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and biohazard safety standards during handling
- Optimize delivery routes across Tucson and surrounding communities for maximum efficiency
- Perform vehicle safety checks and ensure proper storage of medical supplies
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers during pickup/delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and schedule changes
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare or logistics experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Tucson metropolitan area and surrounding communities
