Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, documents, and equipment to designated medical facilities.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations, safety protocols, and chain-of-custody procedures.
- Utilize handheld GPS devices to log delivery locations and times accurately.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring no damage or temperature excursions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to hospital staff and laboratory personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and checking emails.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation with insurance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late evenings if required.
