Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and confidential documents between healthcare facilities, labs, and hospitals
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols during all transports
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive materials
- Communicate delivery status updates and resolve logistical challenges proactively
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and maintain on-time delivery rates
- Assist with inventory management of medical supplies and courier equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate temperature-controlled transport equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality standards
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic documentation software
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by healthcare clients
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
