Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight within the Atlanta metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution using standard loading equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Maintain a clean, professional image and uphold our high standards of customer service.
- Complete all required paperwork, including delivery logs and vehicle reports, accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of Georgia traffic laws and local roadways.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late afternoons.
