Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods within Madison and surrounding regions
- Perform pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Accurately document delivery logs, mileage reports, and inventory manifests
- Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Maintain clean and organized vehicle appearance at all times
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Madison area roads and surrounding counties
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to and from the Madison facility
- Pass background check and drug screening
