Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight between distribution centers and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Coordinate with logistics team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Verify shipment accuracy and secure cargo according to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area roadways
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Reliable transportation to depot for shift start
