Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (dirt, gravel, construction debris)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Load/unload materials at job sites using proper techniques
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch and field supervisors for route optimization
- Assist with minor equipment troubleshooting and reporting
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck experience in construction or hauling
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Tampa-area routes and job site logistics
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment checks
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
