Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Navigate local routes in Louisville to deliver packages and documents to customers in a timely manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring packages are delivered with care and handling any customer inquiries professionally.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is clean, safe, and in good working order.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and digital paperwork using company-provided handheld devices.
- Package Handling: Safely load, unload, and handle packages of various sizes, including those requiring lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Availability: Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift packages for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Technology: Basic proficiency with smartphones or tablets for navigation and scanning.
