Responsibilities
- Safely load, secure, and transport packages to designated delivery locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Practice excellent customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and communicating clearly with clients.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures when required.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the company app.
- Report any vehicle damage or delivery issues to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) and a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must possess a reliable smartphone for navigation and communication.
- Familiarity with Long Beach, CA, and the surrounding areas is highly preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
