Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within Austin city limits
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our proprietary mobile tracking system
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes to maximize delivery efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs
- Smartphone proficiency for route navigation and package scanning
- Reliable transportation to our South Austin hub
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of Austin neighborhoods and major thoroughfares
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
