Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Document trip details, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro area and regional highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management software
