Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, and goods to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon request
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency and minimize delays
- Inspect vehicles for safety compliance and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage inventory and ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive items
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driverās license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation apps
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Charlotte metro area preferred
