Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and forklift certification (training provided)
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and GPS route optimization protocols
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather conditions
- Complete electronic delivery confirmations and customer documentation
- Participate in quarterly safety training and equipment maintenance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (paid training)
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Kansas highway regulations and Hazmat awareness
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
