Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local and regional routes within Virginia.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security during transport.
- Observe all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
