Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight to customers in the Seattle metropolitan area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify maintenance needs.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring securement and protection of goods.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and ensure strict adherence to DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during stops, representing the Apex Freight brand professionally.
- Communicate delays or route issues to dispatch immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
