Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local deliveries within Oklahoma City metro
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling protocols
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using GPS navigation
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly to fleet manager
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma CDL (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Oklahoma City area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning/afternoon shifts
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging systems
