Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials throughout NYC
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and traffic regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Uphold company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
