Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and secure cargo, ensuring it is properly documented and delivered to the correct destination.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and delivery paperwork in a timely manner.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at pickup and delivery locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to minimize risk and accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify potential vehicle issues.
