Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to transport goods within Fort Worth and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records using fleet management systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Secure cargo and verify delivery documentation upon completion
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Fort Worth roadways and Texas transportation laws
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
