Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) within San Francisco city limits and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Handle time-sensitive deliveries for local businesses and distribution centers
- Adapt to real-time traffic conditions and optimize delivery routes
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to navigate San Francisco's unique terrain and traffic patterns
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and route optimization
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning/late afternoon shifts
