Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to weight restrictions and safety protocols.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and compliance documentation.
- Ensure the security and protection of all cargo during transit.
- Uphold strict safety standards and follow all FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) available for review.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling cargo weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong time management skills and reliability.
- Experience with digital dispatch systems is a plus.
