Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within the Charlotte metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adapt to dynamic delivery schedules and optimize routes for time efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
- Uphold strict safety protocols and secure cargo according to industry standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Charlotte area roadways and delivery zones
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery tracking systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong time management skills with punctual delivery history
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
