Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans to transport goods to designated destinations safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and identify maintenance needs.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle condition logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pick-up and drop-off interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (depending on vehicle type).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
- Experience with local delivery routes is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
