Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely to transport goods and materials within the Raleigh metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Accurately document delivery logs, mileage reports, and inventory records
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery-related issues
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Maintain clean and organized vehicle appearance at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital documentation systems
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
