Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to diverse locations across Los Angeles County
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Load/unload cargo using proper techniques and equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies)
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle client inquiries
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to read delivery manifests
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of LA metro area traffic patterns and delivery zones
