Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks to transport freight to designated stops within the Mesa metro area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper handling equipment, adhering to weight limits.
- Prepare and manage delivery documentation, including bills of lading and receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while interacting with customers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Current DOT Medical Card and physical examination certificate.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to safety.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle for commuting to the terminal.
