Responsibilities
- Transport & Delivery: Safely and efficiently transport goods to designated delivery locations within the Las Vegas metro area and surrounding regions.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Load & Unload: Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment, ensuring all items are secured for transit.
- Customer Service: Verify delivery orders for accuracy, maintain a professional demeanor with customers, and obtain necessary signatures.
- Route Management: Follow assigned routes and schedules, making timely stops while adhering to traffic laws.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary delivery logs, mileage reports, and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety policies and company procedures to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- CDL License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required (Clean driving record with no DUIs or major moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Medical Certification: Current DOT Medical Card and willingness to pass a DOT drug screen.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency for logging hours and handling digital delivery confirmations.
- Availability: Reliable transportation to and from the terminal; availability for part-time shifts, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
