Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for weekend deliveries across Memphis and surrounding regions
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Adapt to dynamic schedules with weekend availability (Fri-Sun)
- Maintain pristine vehicle condition and report maintenance needs promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) and flexible schedule
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Memphis metro area routes and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification current
