Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes in the Greater LA area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Manage loading/unloading operations with precision and attention to detail
- Utilize GPS technology to optimize routes and maintain delivery schedules
- Complete required paperwork including delivery confirmations and incident reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Los Angeles metropolitan area and surrounding routes
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Basic computer skills for digital logs and communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work in varying weather conditions
