Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks for timely pickup and delivery of goods across Philadelphia metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and real-time GPS tracking updates
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, safety checks, and basic maintenance
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to traffic regulations and delivery windows
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage loading/unloading processes with proper material handling techniques
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (26' or smaller) with current registration and insurance
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia geography and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Smartphone with reliable data for dispatch communication and tracking
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road repairs
- Strong time management and customer service orientation
