Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic equipment maintenance
- Optimize routes for efficient delivery while ensuring cargo security
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) with current registration and insurance
- Proficiency in route navigation and time management
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong attention to detail for documentation and safety protocols
- Availability for 3-5 days per week (mornings/afternoons)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
