Responsibilities
- Transport freight safely and efficiently across North Texas using your owned box truck
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate with dispatch team in real-time
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure cargo security protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and local traffic laws at all times
- Build strong client relationships through reliable on-time deliveries
- Collaborate with logistics team for route optimization and load planning
- Report maintenance needs promptly to ensure operational readiness
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable late-model box truck (24-26ft) with proper insurance coverage
- Strong knowledge of Dallas-Fort Worth metro area routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and handle physically demanding tasks
- Smartphone with reliable data for GPS and communication apps
